Since 1975, the Earned Income Tax Credit has been a tool to aid working families and individuals, yet so many tax payers fail see the benefits this tax credit on their return simply because they are not aware of the program or assume that they are ineligible. That means that you may be missing out on thousands of dollars that could be spent on your family.
